Cleaning your Coach handbag and having it looking its best

If you are lucky enough to say you are the owner of a Coach handbag, there are important things you should know about keeping it clean and "healthy" looking. If you are willing to spend the money on a Coach purse, should`nt you spend the time and money on the upkeep? Of course you should it`s worth the investment. It`s not only your investment, but also your close friend.

Cradle and cherish your Coach handbag, it may be passed down to your future generations, and they can share the Coach glamour with you as well. For the Coach jacquard fabric, wipe away the simple spot, cleaning it with a gentle towel. If the mark is hard to deal with, you can try to use warm water and a mild soap.

You should test a similar piece first and I would not advise using any solvent whatsoever. It will more than likely tear up your handbag. The jacquard fabric is strong enough to repel against most any water damage and pesky stains.

A Coach leather handbag usually requires more attention. Normally, leather handbags only need to be cleaned by a soft or damp and white cloth. If there is something like a pen scratch on the surface, you can usually wipe them off with an ink eraser. If your leather handbag is fading away from lack of care, you more than likely need natural leather oil cleaner for restoration. Leather is similar to your skin, you should moisturize and condition your bag for quiet sometime.

Once they crack from your abuse, they will never look the same as when you first purchased them. A wise investment means you should invest in the right products to keep them looking at the top of their class. Regrets usually come from the lack of knowledge, instead of pure carelessness or indifference. Something that should never be done for your Coach Handbags.

As any of your permanent investments, you should keep an eye on your bag from time to time, as well as timely maintenance and handbag cleaning investments. Treat your bag as you would your own skin. There are tailored cosmetics and cleaners for different skin types. So do the materials of your Coach purses. It doesn`t matter if it is a leather Coach handbag you bought at a discount outlet store, or one you bought at a Coach Outlet online. You should take care of your investment like it is the last Coach bag you will ever own!

Tips for cleaning my Coach handbags?

Asled  asked:

I have two Coach signature handbags, a white one and a pink one. Since they are such light colors, it has been very hard to keep them clean. I was just in the Coach store today and they recommended their Signature Cleaner which is specifically for the signature bags, not leather or suede. I tried it on both bags when I got home, following the salesman's instructions as well as the instructions on the bottle, and from what I can tell, it has made no difference. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if anyone knows of another way to get my purses clean without damaging the fabric. Thanks!
This is not a leather purse, it is made of Italian jacquard.
answer..Unfortunately there is no easy answer to cleaning your handbag. However I know of others that have sent their Coach bags to dry cleaners and noticed some of the stains were gone but not all. Others have cleaned them themselves with mild detergent and a soft brush and just scrubbed them lightly so not to damage the fabric and got varying results. Some of the Coach bags that are made from fabric are stain and and water repellent and very little should have to be done to clean them. Most can be cleaned with a damp cloth and let air dry. I wish there was an easy answer but if you have tried everything then try the extremes like orange cleaner or some other biodegradable cleaner, after all if it is too dingy or dirty to carry around then you may have to get another one. So wait on the extreme cleaning trial until you are prepared to purchase a new handbag.
